Xavier Rizos – Chief Strategy & Impact Officer, PALO IT
Xavier brings significant experience from the financial services sector, where he focuses on strategy and innovation – especially how technology, consumer trends, and market forces are forcing incumbents to adapt their business models.
Before joining PALO IT, Xavier Rizos was Head of Strategy & Innovation at BOQ Group, which operates Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia, and ME Bank. There, he supported the executive team and the board through a major digital transformation during the COVID-19 period. Xavier has also held several senior roles across Europe and Australia focused on strategy, development, and corporate innovation with companies including the Westpac Banking, National Australia Bank, Suncorp Insurance, and management consulting firm Booz & Company.
