This perspective underscores our commitment to not only adapting but also leading in this new era of software development. To achieve this, we've established a dedicated task force focused on three key pillars: Research, Projects, and Adoption.

Research: Staying Ahead of the Curve

Our Research team is dedicated to exploring the vast potential of Generative AI (GenAI) tools and approaches, identifying market trends, and evaluating innovative technologies to enhance software development. By continuously monitoring the latest advancements and validating new tools through proof of concepts and assessments, we're able to provide documented recommendations and optimization proposals that inform the usage of these new tools in our projects.

The Research pillar is critical in ensuring that we integrate effective and innovative GenAI tools and methodologies into our software delivery processes.  By establishing a feedback loop with project teams, we're able to continuously refine our tools and approaches in this fast moving area.

As Marc Andreessen famously said, "Software is eating the world," and now AI is consuming software development, with the hottest new programming language being English. 

We are currently exploring some impressive tools that could enhance our development process:

• v0 by Vercel: A powerful tool designed to assist in generating frontend UI code efficiently.
• Bolt.new: Development of complete full-stack web applications, and the best part? It's free to use!
• Bolt.new with LLM Support: This GitHub repository expands the functionality of Bolt by allowing integration with various large language models (LLMs), unlike the original Bolt, which currently only supports Anthropic models.

Although still in their infancy, these tools provide a sneak peek at the potential for GenAI to accelerate software delivery and rapidly iterate over ideas, boosting productivity overall with more time focused on the delivery of a working product than the creation of it.

Projects: Testing the Waters

Our Projects team takes the research findings to the next level by implementing small-scale initiatives to test new tools and processes in real-world contexts. This allows us to drive continuous improvement and innovation, using projects as a platform to experiment with AI-powered tools and methodologies. By collaborating closely with the Research team, we ensure that our projects are informed by the latest research and that we're able to provide valuable feedback to inform future development.

Our in-house innovation lab offers an exceptional environment for us to experiment with cutting-edge technologies, allowing us to determine their effectiveness and readiness for client projects. In the last year alone, we've produced prototypes for. Through these initiatives, we also assess the tools’ pros and cons, ensuring that we make informed decisions about which & how these technologies to leverage in our solutions. In the last year alone, we’ve produced prototypes & proof of concepts for:

  • Significantly enhance customer service across various industries by delivering tailored greetings and information, creating a more engaging environment for customers.

• Customer Service Voice chat with RAG

  • A game-changer for industries like insurance and finance,
    enhancing customer service phone interactions by providing accurate and consistent responses that boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.

AI assisted enterprise document search

• • Beneficial for enterprise knowledge management, legal document research, customer support systems, and academic and scientific research, allowing employees to focus on higher-value tasks.

GenAI Diffusion models for land-use planning

• • The setup generates real-time visualizations based on attendee selections. Participants can choose the elements they wish to see by making selections on an iPad, providing a glimpse into potential urban landscapes shaped by community feedback.
